  1. Steps to Improve Enforcement Efficiency
  • Implement corporate-style performance management system and reward high-performing staff accordingly.
  • Strengthen enforcement techniques, regularly hold on-the-job training sessions and major case conferences.
  • Strengthen communications with civil enforcement division and transferring agencies to raise enforcement efficacy.
  • Comply with the proportionality principle while complying with the law in enforcing, and refuse any lobbying influence in the enforcement of public power.
  • Strengthen enforcement of moveable and real assets to raise enforcement efficacy.
  • Proactively pursue cases in accordance with the authority of the ex-officio system of the Administrative Enforcement Act.
  • Actively close cases and establish a reward system.

 

  1. Strengthen Implementations for the Convenience of the Public

 

  • Place importance in public sentiment, with management officers personally participating in public service.
  • Treat customers with the upmost respect and conduct audits of enforcement attitudes and manners during service.
  • Provide service centers for the convenience of the public, such as barrier-free access and breast-feeding rooms.
  • Improve promotional efforts to increase enforcement efficacy and closing rates by calling on the public to pay outstanding fees on their own initiative or to provide collateral to be able to pay in instalments.
