This branch was established to alleviate the demand of the large number of administrative enforcement cases in the Taipei area, and to provide relief to the Taipei and New Taipei branches with their unconcluded enforcement cases, thereby ensuring the timely enforcement of the agency’s statutory duty.

 Obligatory payments under public law are duties that an obligor is required to satisfy under law.  Although citizens should be aware of such duties, the ever-changing conditions of the economy and the resultant changes to both the economical and societal structures have led to large amounts of such payments remaining outstanding and overdue, with corresponding case load increases within this branch. As this branch was established with the great expectations of both our superior officers and the general public, all of our staff are well cognizant of the great responsibility we carry and are committed to carrying out our duties to the best of our abilities.  It is our goal to implement corporate style management and cost profit analysis into the public sector bureaucracy to achieve the mandate of this administrative enforcement specialty agency.

 The Administrative Enforcement Agency, Ministry of Justice, was established on January 1, 2001 with 12 branches around Taiwan located in Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Changhua, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung, Hualien and Yilan.  This branch was established with approval of the Executive Yuan on January 1, 2006 for the purpose of alleviating the high amount of workload and unclosed enforcement cases within the Taipei area for the benefit of the national treasury and to carry out the agency’s statutory duty.
